It is a requirement that the club provides a tea for the match officials, opposition and of course our own players. Teas are usually prepared by the (home) players themselves or their friends and family.

The club sets a budget of £50:00 per tea and the general consensus from visiting teams is that they always look forward to visiting Shepshed Town as we arguably provide the best teas.

Each visiting team reports back to the league organisers and mark the host club on a number of areas one of which is the tea. We are regularly marked extremely highly in this area.


We invite local businesses to sponsor a match tea at a cost of £50:00

We will publicise your sponsorship on match day so that every player and visitor to the club is aware who has contributed. We will also acknowledge your sponsorship on the result page for that particular match on this website.
