NEW CHAIRMAN

A couple of weeks ago, club Chairman, Greg Williamson reluctantly resigned his position for personal and business reasons.
Vice Chairman, Phil Smith has stepped up to fill the Chairmans position until the AGM later in the year.
“I am delighted to be given this opportunity to be the Clubs figurehead and I sincerely hope, that in the short period until the AGM, that I can fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the club and its members”

“I would also like to take this opportunity to extend the clubs gratitude to Greg for the procedures that he put in place during his tenure. We mustn’t forget that it was Greg that gave us the impetus to take on the Shepshed Community Bonfire which had been off of the Shepshed calendar for too many years. All of our best wishes go out to Greg and his family.”
