Here at Shepshed we are all enthusiastic about our Cricket and we welcome the interest and support of anyone of a like mind, regardless of , Race, Religion, Ability, Gender, Age or Infirmity.

Shepshed Town CC is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC)

We aim to provide Cricket as a serious or recreational activity for all ages who love the game whilst maintaining a tradition dating back to 1869.

We aim to promote the game very much as a team activity, with strong emphasis on team spirit and social cohesion.

We believe that everyone who joins the club should have the opportunity to take part to the highest possible level based on their individual skills and needs regardless of anything other than cricket.

We further aim to promote a sense of comradeship, fellowship and enjoyment amongst all involved in the Club and Clubs visiting us.

We also fully support the aims of the ECB and Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket Board in the fostering of cricket at all standards from the playground to the test arena. We are happy to provide match day facilities for District Cricket. The ground subject to availability is also available for hire to all other organisations wishing to include Cricket on their agenda.

We also support schools Cricket and have established good relationships with both the High School and Community College.

Shepshed Town aims to be truly a Community Venue and welcomes enquiries from anyone in the Community who believes our facilities may be of use to them.

Shepshed Town offers a family atmosphere and safe environment for the development of youngsters in a sporting way and socially.
